Grace Erickson '24 Recruiting Profile

My strengths as a player:

• I am a good skater with quickness and speed. I win races to loose pucks.
• I am a smart, coachable player.  I play the game with composure.
• I have good ice vision and am a good playmaker. I am a good distributor of the puck on breakouts and regroups. If a forward does a good job of stretching the ice and hitting a seam at the right time, I will put the puck on her stick.
• I am at top of the umbrella on powerplay.
• I am a good teammate. I treat my teammates with respect. And I do my part to try to get everyone playing with confidence.
• I am not the tallest player ever, but I am strong, and rarely get beat in a battle. I take pride in winning battles against taller players. I work hard in the weight room to have a strong core and legs.
• I am a dependable defender and take pride in shutting down 1 on 1 attacks.
• I believe that the name of the game is puck possession. The team that possesses the puck usually wins. And I mold my game around that belief. I understand puck support.
