I love hockey. I started at 8 years old and have been working hard to improve every year. Don’t let my small stature fool you. I have the fight and tenacity to win the corner battles and beat you to the puck.
I have played at Wayzata youth association and AAA with Ice Cougars. With the support of my invested parents, I have taken skating clinics, hired shooting coaches and just skated for fun. As a result I have made Tier 2 teams and earned a spot on high performance team. I have taken my game to the next level leading my team to state as the top goal scorer and point earner on my team as well as #2 point scorer in the district.
I am currently enrolled in off season training with MAP/FHIT and am dedicated to improving my skills on the ice and my strength and conditioning off ice.
In my free time, I also play full year lacrosse with Wayzata and MN ELITE as a midfielder. In my 6 years in lacrosse we have won 4 youth state championships and continue to work toward further success traveling to various lacrosse tourneys across the country.
Additionally, I run track having made regionals in 100, 200 and 4x200 relay
All of the athletic achievements have meant the world to me in the friends I’ve made and lessons I’ve learned not the titles we’ve won.
With the success in sports, I am also proud to have a supportive family and friend group that create an environment to have success in the classroom as well. I recognize that life has balance and my education will never take a backseat to my athletics. I will make time for both.
I am looking to continue my education and athletics through high school and am hopeful to connect with coaches and teammates that share my values to continue into post high school education.
