Lauren Barnacle '25 Recruiting Profile

I have played hockey for 6 years and I love the sport. I'm known for being a hard worker, team player, someone that plays both ends of the ice, and strives to get better on and off the ice. Hockey has given me so many opportunities, experiences, and friends that I never would have gotten without it, and I wish I started playing earlier. My teammates call me Barney because of my last name and it has gotten to the point where sometimes I don't even respond to Lauren. 

In my six years of playing hockey I have played on 12A, 15A, Tier 1 Minnesota Green Giants and won a National Championship, made the U15 HP St.Cloud Development Camp, and played 2 years of varsity hockey. As a multi-sport athlete, I've also played three years of varsity lacrosse, two of varsity cross country, and one year of JV tennis. I've also challenged myself in the classroom with a cumulative grade of 3.86, taking honors science and AP U.S. History. I have made all A honor rolls in high school and lettered in National Honors Society. 

I'm very close with my family. Sports are my second home and my teammates are like family. I would love to continue my hockey career and am very open to any opportunity given.
