Personal Statement

Hello Coaches!

Hockey has always been my greatest passion. Growing up in a hockey family, the game has been a central part of my life. I’m a 2025 graduate with aspirations to play Division I Women’s Collegiate Hockey as a goalie. My coaches and teammates describe me as having a relentless work ethic, being determined, competitive, coachable, a natural leader, and mentally tough.

In the offseason, I’m fully committed to developing my skills and pushing my game to the next level, which I believe sets me apart. Each time I step on the ice, my goal is to outwork my potential. Academically, I am just as dedicated, and my commitment is reflected in my GPA and my standing at the top of my class.

Outside of hockey, I enjoy spending time with family and friends at the lake, playing pickleball, golfing, snowboarding, and baking.

We have secured the number one spot in the league as of 10/13/24 and going to the Tier II Nationals in April 2025 in Cleveland, OH. Currently, I am ranked 2nd out of 37 goalies based on the number of games played. We won the championship on 10/27 with a final record of 14-1-0.

AwardsDuring the 2023-24 school year, I was on the A honor roll the entire year. In addition, I successfully passed the AP Statistics exam with a score of a 3. For the 2024-25 school year, I am participating in the Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program, which allows me to take college-level courses for both high school and college credit through Bethel University in St. Paul, MN.
ActivitiesWhile I haven't been involved in many extracurricular activities outside of hockey, my dedication to both my education and maintaining a high GPA has been a priority. Balancing my academic responsibilities with the demands of competitive hockey required careful time management and focus, which helped me excel in both areas.
