Sophie Hauer '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sophie Hauer, I live in Stillwater, MN and play for Stillwater Area High School. I played on the JV team the last 2 seasons. I've been playing hockey since I was 9 years old and have dreamed of playing at the college level. I am a right handed defenseman. My coaches say I am a player who makes good hockey plays, smart passes, and I am extremely coachable. I am not the loudest on the team but I am consistent, reliable and a very hard worker on and off the ice. 

In school I have a 3.6 GPA. In college I am interested in studying Kinesiology and becoming a physical therapist, or something to do with sports science/medicine. 

I am hopeful to experience playing on a college hockey team, and meeting new teammates and coaches.
