Cade Wiley '25 Recruiting Profile

As a three-sport varsity athlete, I understand that teamwork and dedication play an essential role in success. I am an extremely hard worker on and off the ice, and I excel in a rigorous course schedule, along with several extracurriculars. I am a consistent starter and a leader on my hockey team at Proctor Academy, and thrive in a league with some of the best teams in prep school hockey. 

Playing college hockey is a huge aspiration of mine, as hockey has been my passion for my entire life. I have found a community in hockey, and an arena in which I can grow and be challenged, which I would love to continue throughout my college years. I enjoy having goals to work towards and pushing myself beyond my comfort zone. 

When I am on the ice, I battle relentlessly for the puck, have a strong shot, an excellent hockey IQ, and a continuous positive attitude. I am very coachable, and am constantly working to improve my game with the help of my coaches, reviewing video, and pursuing extra skills instruction with my skills coach. I pride myself as a selfless teammate, who prioritizes my team over myself. I have an intense work ethic, and continually devote my time to my own growth, and always strive to be the best player I can be.
