Personal Statement

My name is Julie McLaughlin. I am 17 years old and senior at Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua NH. My goals are to complete a degree so that I have the best education possible, and to play competitive hockey in college. I am looking for a school in a suburban area that has smaller to medium size classes. I would like to compete at a division 2 or 3 school. This season I am playing for the New England Wildcats U19 Black and Bishop Guertin Varsity as a captain. This season I am working on my stride on a skating treadmill to increase my speed. Off the ice I am working on my agility and strength. I have dedicated myself to doing well in school and at the same time I have been playing two or three sports at a time. I play competitive travel hockey, competitive travel fast pitch softball and I achieved a Black Belt in Taekwondo.
