2021 HighlightsWhat makes me a good candidate for college hockey is my internal drive and motivation. I have wanted to play college hockey since I was 5 years old. I played on two teams (boys) until the U12 level both playing as a goalie and skater, where we won the EHF championship my final season. I switched to my clubs girls side program at U12 as a skater so I could develop my skills in one position. I was the highest scoring player on my girls club team for the past 4 years, leading my team to both state and regional championships. I challenge myself to become stronger as a player, but also as a teammate. I was referred by my coach as the player looked up to on my team. I motivated myself, but others. You will always find me giving a teammate a high five when coming to the bench or words of positivity for a nice play. I believe in setting other players up for goals through assists as well as scoring myself. I believe to make myself as strong of a player as I could, working out with a trainer was important so for the last 5 years, I work with our personal trainer and when at home with my personal trainer and believe in the importance of building my strength and endurance to meet the needs of the level of play I am in. I sought out prep schools when I was in 7th grade, knowing this was my future path and the compete level I wanted to achieve in high school. I continue to challenge myself and work hard on and off the ice to be the best player I can. My dreams reach as far as a national and olympic player with my start playing on a college team in the sport I love.
