My desire to play hockey at a competitive level in college started when I was young. I have always loved the sport! As I've gotten older I have tried out for more competitive teams and I enjoy doing summer clinics and joining summer teams to improve my skills. I also work hard on my puck handling skills and I work to improve my shots whenever I can. I have learned that even though I may be shy off the ice I can take charge and step up to be a leader on the ice. Throughout school I have always worked hard to keep my grades high and I have always been on the high honor role at my school. As well as being on the high honor role I am a member of The National Society of High School Scholars. My academic goals for high school are to push myself by taking challenging classes that will also help prepare me for college. My goals for college are to pursue my interest of the medical field by going through a pre-med program in college and then entering medical school.
Hockey has as long as I can remember been a passion of mine......I love this game! No matter where life takes me I know I will be involved in this sport in some way. At some point I will most likely coach youth hockey and share my love of the game.
