Hi, I’m Annemarie Testa. I am 15 years old. I attend the Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart and in my sophomore year. I enjoy challenging myself and pushing myself to be the best I can be. Along with pushing myself I also encourage the people I am around to be the best they can be. Learning new things interests me, as well as advice from coaches, teachers, and adults. Working with a team is something I love doing. I strive for success and will do anything I can go reach my goals.
I loved going to hockey games as a young child so my mother put me in a skating program at the age of three. I excelled quickly and my parents put me in figure skating around the age of seven. I competed for years and placed at many competitions including State Games of America. However, I slowly began to gain more interest in hockey. My seventh grade year I decided to make the switch. I immediately fell in love with the sport. My skating skills came to me so easily and are my strongest point. I work hard every day on my stick handling and shooting. I always work my hardest in anything I do. I got onto our school varsity team freshman year and again my sophomore year. I see self improvement everyday.
