My name is Miranda Adele Bestul and I am a striving student athlete at Eau Claire Memorial High School. I am looking for the opportunity to play hockey at the next level while studying for my future. I have aspired to play at the collegiate level since the young age of 10. I have overcome multiple obstacles to do what a love, and that is to play hockey. For example, I attended a high school that didn’t offer girls hockey and made the decision to transfer schools. It was an easy decision but a difficult transfer that took place for my sophomore year. I greatly value my education and have taken the many new educational opportunities that challenge and teach me knew things every day. It is very important that my school of choice offers a well rounded range of classes to help me reach my full potential. I am looking forward to continuing my competitive nature and athletic lifestyle throughout college. I enjoy meeting a challenge and rising to the occasion when it presents itself. The desire I have to win and reach my full potential is what compels my hard work mentality. I want to spread my desire for the sport with the rest of my team and develop a family with the girls I’m playing with. I’m excited to hear from coaches and learn more about the collegiate level.
