Hi My name is Gabriella Alise Batchen, but everyone calls me Gabby. I go to Jackson Hole High School. I live with my parents Jay and Lisa Batchen, and I have an older sister who is 17. I began my hockey career at the age of 4 and I have played on the boys team up until my Freshman year when I decided to move to only be on a girls team. I started playing on Team Wyoming (AA) at the age of 12. My first year I played on U14, second year I played on U16, and 2019-2020 year I played on the U14 team and was awarded to be alternate captain. I am starting center on my state team which is Tier 2 (AA) and starting left wing/center on the U19 varsity girls team. I was the only Freshman on the U19 starting line my first year. At the end of the season I played 20 games, I lead my team in goals with 32, PIM with 14, SHG with 2, PPG 1 and GWG with 3. I work hard on and off the ice so I get better and train to be the best i can be. I get athletic coaching from my mother who is a world famous ultra marathoner and athlete as well as a personal trainer. I have been invited to summer programs, boarding schools, and district camps as well. My coaches have commented that I am hardworking, coachable, I give all my effort, and help the team out with my positive and energetic attitude. I work hard in school and maintain all A's and B's, and to create a positive and kind atmosphere to everyone. I balance out my school career and athletic career very well. I have always been the independent child in my family, so my parents don’t have to motivate me to do the small things like help around the house, or practice my off ice skills.
Thanks for looking at my profile!
