Dylan Jacob '25 Recruiting Profile

I’m Dylan Jacob, and I am a junior at Palos Verdes High School.I have been rowing for five years, and crew has made those years the most memorable. Last year was my first competitive season, and my crew stayed undefeated in our U16 4x+ until we won gold at the 2022 Youth Nationals. This year my boat continued on our path to success placing 2nd at regionals and 8th at Youth Nationals. Not only have I gained these achievements, I have also made lifelong friends that I wouldn’t be here without. While rowing is what I am most passionate about, my education is also what matters most to me. I work hard to maintain a healthy balance between being the best athlete and best scholar. I look forward to finding a school that will motivate me to become a better athlete and teammate and support me through my academic endeavors.
