I first started rowing during my club's 2022-2023 season as a freshmen in high school. Before then I had never encountered rowing as a competitive sport or seen much of it in general. During the summer before my freshmen yeah however, I was fortunate enough to join a "learn to row" while on vacation in Vancouver, Canada. That one week of learning how to row was such a memorable experience and I enjoyed it so much I begged my dad to find a club near us back home and I haven't looked back since. In college I would like to further my competitive rowing career while also being able to pursue the academic subjects I am interested in. I love STEM subjects, specifically anything to do with chemistry, physics, and especially math.
