Jordan Barker '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Jordan and I have been rowing for about four years; this year (sophomore year) is my second year on varsity and I could not be more excited for my future in this sport. I love rowing because out of all the sports I have done I have never been a part of an environment so encouraging and full of girls who love the grind together and push each other so much. I’m hoping to row at a division one or two level in college because I am looking for that intensity and routine. I definitely bring the excitement to practices and races and uplift my team. This year, I received the coaches award for my dedication and commitment. In the classroom, I work very hard on achieving my academic goals which translates out of the classroom and onto the water. The adrenaline from racing and crossing the finish line compares to nothing I’ve ever experienced outside of rowing and That’s a big part in why I stuck with the sport as it feeds my competitive desire. Im excited to see what I can do in my next stage out of high school as a rower!
