Anabelle Persson '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Anabelle Persson and I’ve been rowing at North Palm Beach Rowing Club since my freshman year. Before rowing, I never really played any specific sport, rather, I switched from sport to sport all the time, never having a team connection. But when I started rowing with my team, I started to feel a connection to the people on my team and the sport. Rowing is different than other sports as it gives you a unique team bond; everyone has to pull their weight in the boat and encourage each other to do better. I hope to be able to maintain this bond with my current team members for years to come and then forge new connections in college. Between school and rowing, I have learned to balance my high level courses and intense crew training, allowing me to push myself further than how I was before. I hope to be able to continue rowing at the collegiate level to make new life long connections and increase my personal excellence.
