Bridget McLaughlin '23 Recruiting Profile

Previously a long-time volleyball player, I decided to try rowing in January of 2022. Within the first 7 months of rowing, I earned the second best erg time, was seated in the best boat on the team, competed at the SRAA National Championship Regatta and ranked Top 10 nationally, was invited/trained 4 weeks at the US Rowing Olympic Development Program, and secured 3 medals at the Halifax Summer Regatta - 2 golds for a double and a quad, silver for 8+. 

Skilled in the mental and physical demands of academic rigor while simultaneously managing the pressure of high level competition. I understand the dedication and commitment it requires to be a college athlete as my brother is an offensive lineman on the Stanford University Football Team. 

Focused and disciplined student-athlete with an interest in government and politics. Selected as an ALA Florida Girls State Delegate for an immersive 8-day program on Americanism in our state’s capitol. Extensive experience in leadership positions and working with teams.
