Personal Statement

Thank you for your interest! I am committed to the University of Portland.

Are you looking for a dependable, reliable rower on your team? Look no further. I will be at every practice and will perform and improve stats consistently. I will be there before and after everyone else, making sure things are taken care of. I will be the one to welcome new members to the team and make sure that they are becoming a valued member. I have been in competitive sports since elementary school, playing basketball competitively for 6 years before switching to rowing in the summer of 2021. I fell in love with the supportive team atmosphere of the crew and enjoy time on the water in every weather condition and the competitive nature of regattas. I really would like to continue rowing in college. Hopefully, for your team.
