Rowing has been a defining part of my life, shaping me into the person I am today and providing me with lessons that will stay with me forever. The sport has not only taught me the value of hard work, discipline, and perseverance, but also how to collaborate in a team and push through challenges. These qualities have allowed me to build lifelong friendships and strong connections with teammates who share a common goal, and have instilled in me a sense of unity and camaraderie that extends beyond the boat. Rowing has also equipped me with skills that will serve me well in college and beyond. Time management, goal-setting, and mental toughness are just a few of the traits I have developed through countless hours of training and racing. I am eager to continue rowing at the collegiate level because I believe it will challenge me both physically and mentally, while giving me the opportunity to grow alongside dedicated teammates. I am excited about the chance to contribute to a team, learn from experienced coaches, and continue to push myself to new heights both on the water and in the classroom.
