Hi! My name is Lilia Thomas and I am a rising senior at Masconomet Regional High School. My education is a very important aspect of my life. On top of this, I am also involved in rowing in which I have had to learn how to balance along with my grades and other various extracurriculars. Throughout my five years of rowing, I have grown tremendously in every season at the Gordon Rowing Association. As a coxswain, I am very dedicated, disciplined, and am always willing to work hard doing what I love. In Fall 2023, I transitioned from bowing to coxing and I have gained experience coxing novice, U19 and U23 boys and girls as well as Masters. I also act as an unofficial assistant coach through leading winter collegiate practices and coaching novices and Learn to Row. I am the varsity coxswain on our team and we train yearlong. My team is a smaller one that started 5 years ago. After high school, I want to attend an academically challenging college with a competitive team that is just as motivated and passionate about rowing as me.
