I am very interested in continuing to work hard as a student athlete in college! My plan is to study nursing and become a registered nurse, while pursing my dream of becoming a collegiate rower. I very open to exploring colleges all across the country, and not just in my home state of Michigan. I may not be the tallest and the strongest, but I have a passion for this sport that drives me to work my hardest every day whether on the water or the erg. I fell in love with rowing as a freshman, when I took my first strokes as novice. My love, dedication, strength, grit, and passion to work hard keeps me coming back every day! I have been part of state championship winning team my freshman year! As well as contributing to team points by placing 2nd in the Freshman 4+ and 1st in the Junior Varsity 8+. Sophomore year I placed 2nd in the Varsity 8+ and 1st in the Junior Varsity 1x at the state championship regatta! Sophomore year I was a part of two Midwest Championship placing boats. I placed 2nd in the Junior Varsity 2x and 2nd in the Varsity 1x, securing a spot at Nationals! In the following weeks, I rowed at SSAA Nationals and placed 7th in the Varsity 1x! Additionally, I was recognized as the most improved rower in the 22' spring season. This award shows my work ethic and my strive to learn and improve! I am excited to continue to make technical improvements and get faster over the spring season! Thank you for your interest and I would love to hear from you!
