Personal Statement

I started rowing in June 2022, and broke 8 my first 2k. I have made tremendous progress in a short amount of time and will continue to get faster! My determination is unmatched, and only seen it improve since June!

ActivitiesInvolved in clubs both in and outside of school that raise money for cancer research. (Gold Hearts NY/Lady Spartans Against Cancer) Started a drive at my school called Women INN Need that collects supports a local charity and collects donations that people in the community don't have access to. In March 2020, I also started my own charity that raised money to provide meals for frontline workers who didn't have the time to do it for themselves. I ended up raising over 6k in donations that started at just $5. We used this money to place 13 orders at local restaurants/delis that were delivered to 6 different hospitals. Not only was it amazing to see how grateful everyone was for this act of kindness, but I also was able to help out the local businesses that were struggling in times of COVID.
