Samantha Charron '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Samantha Charron and I am a Coxswain for Oyster Bay Community Rowing. I originally started crew in 7th grade and instantly had a connection and passion for the sport. I strive everyday to lead my team into success through my leadership and communication skills. Throughout my time as being a coxswain, I have learned to be attentive towards small detail, have great communication skills, and have unwavering focus. I also strive for excellence beyond crew. As a Student I also prioritize time management, teamwork, and academic success along with athletic success with getting Rookie of the year (2022) and MVP (2023) awards from my school. My goal is to keep coxing in college, and I am excited to see what the future beholds.
