My goal is to row my hardest for my college team, make lifelong connections with my teammates, and earn a humanities based degree in preparation for graduate school. In terms of rowing, I'm extremely disciplined, I don't complain, I respect my coaches, and my life is happily centered around rowing. I think that rowing is such a wonderful sport because it is a total body workout, it connects & focuses the mind and the body, it creates a discipline that can be applied to all parts of life, and has given me the richest friendships I have ever known. I have been able to balance academics with athletics, and I know that this balance will benefit me in college.
