Gianna Mastrande '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches!  My name is Gianna Mastrande and I am currently a junior at Lynbrook Senior High School, located in Long Island, NY. This Spring will be my 6th season as a Varisty and club team rower. I have so much that I would love to share about my rowing journey and look forward to the possibility of rowing at the college level in Fall 2026.  I am determined this year to reach top levels as both a scholar and as a rower. I have been training hard throughout the winter and enjoying time with my family and friends! I look forward to the opportunity to continue working hard and diversifying my rowing experiences in order to make myself an asset to any team as a collegiate rower. I plan on studying history and Italian with the intention of post-graduate employment as both a teacher and a crew coach -- giving back to the sport that has given me so much. I look forward to speaking with you!
