Charlotte Varner '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Charlotte and I began as a rower but soon felt drawn toward coxing when I quickly learned that I loved to motivate and drive my boat. I like to keep my boats optimistic and driven through races and I get to hype them up. I am always trying to expand my vocabulary and try new calls for practice to improve my boat feel and help make the boat faster overall. I can always improve and one of my favorite ways to do that is watching back my videos and being very critical of what I could have said as well as getting feedback from my boat after pieces and races. I love learning how to improve and watching recordings of other coxswains to see new things I could try!
