Elizabeth Loughry '24 Recruiting Profile

I decided to switch from track and club volleyball to rowing last year. I am a hard worker and very coachable. I fell in love with crew this past winter during erg season. I was stroke seat in both of my boats this past spring: Novice 8+ and Novice 4+, where we finished 1st and 2nd, respectfully, at the Midwest Scholastic Championships. I am continuing to compete in cross country during the fall season.

In the classroom, I am a very driven student and strive to be the best. I am particularly interested in engineering. Outside of school, in addition to sports, I love to fly. I have my private pilot license and over 80 hours of flight time. I am also active in numerous clubs and my church.

I am looking to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and in rowing.
