Hi!
My name is Isabella Hsia and I am a current junior at Notre Dame Academy. I prefer going by Bella to maximize how personable I am because it allows me to create more intimacy with others. I believe I am a good candidate for teams because I strive to make the best out of any situation and I will not back down when given a challenge. I always tend to lean towards the harder route because I know it will be worth it long term and enable me to better myself as a coxswain and a person. I believe I am different from other recruits because I can use my creative and outgoing spirit to create a community with whoever I am with. Rowing has allowed me to bloom as a person and learn who I am and what motivates me in the face of adversity. I have learned that communication with others and listening to all perspectives are what are needed to craft a great chemistry bond between both rowers and coxswains. I believe this idea can help me influence others and allow me to stand up as a leader.
