Hello, my name is Delilah Forman and I began my coxing career in the 8th grade for Philadelphia City Rowing, a free club for all of Philadelphia's public high schools and middle schools. In the fall of my junior year, I made the decision to switch to Whitemarsh Boat Club, a more competitive team with a much more competitive environment which was what I was looking for. That time I called out my first power 10, it has been an exhilarating journey from my novice year to where I am now. With my outgoing personality and my abnormally short stature, I know that I am a perfect fit to be a coxswain. It is a dream of mine to cox in college for a school with a large and dedicated team. In my high school career I am experienced in coxing men and women. The team I cox for, Whitemarsh Boat Club. What makes me different from other recruits is that I put in work and show an incredible amount of effort because I really want to be here. Every practice I'm there even during erg workouts. I make connections with my rowers and we become best friends. I believe that having a best friend as a coxswain really strengthens the trust in the boat and makes the row that much better.
