I am extremely passionate about rowing, and want to continue in college. Rowing has shown me that I can be strong, and do amazing things. I love the sport and I am so grateful for what it has brought me. I use it as a way to empower myself and work myself to the absolute best of my abilities. Nothing is more rewarding than a gold medal or a PR on the erg.
I am willing to give my all in every aspect of collegiate life. Academically, I bring a 4.0 GPA and many AP classes, as well as academic integrity and passion. When it comes to rowing, I offer my times and the commitment to improve upon them consistently. I am willing to put in hard work to better myself personally, as well as work to improve my team. I am a strong willed, passionate person with a strong work ethic. I possess useful teamwork and leadership skills that I am ready to use in any aspect of my future. I got started with rowing a little later than most, and haven’t been in the recruiting process long, but I am dedicated and absolutely love the sport. In the time I’ve been rowing, I’ve improved at a fast rate, which proves that with the right coaching, the sky's the limit! ’ve overcome many obstacles in my personal and athletic life and my perseverance is evident.
I plan to study psychology or biology, and work in a field that allows me to help others, specifically teenagers with eating disorders. I want to help people who struggle mentally so they can live their best life. I’m open to all divisions, and ready to commit to a team. I want to keep improving my times and bond with a team, and be part of something amazing! I hope to have the opportunity to leave my mark on a collegiate team.
