Emma Dailey '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Emma Dailey, and I am a junior at the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur. I decided to pick up rowing last November (the start of the winter season), and it was the first sport I truly loved. I started as a novice last spring and worked my way up to JV the same season; I now row with the Varsity 8 for my first fall season. My favorite aspect of rowing is the team. It is unique to the sport and creates inseparable bonds in contrast to other sports that may be more individual; I know I am rowing for myself and the seven other girls in my boat as we grow together. I aspire to improve for myself and my team each day I am on the water or erg, and I am excited to take the next steps in my rowing career.
