I want to play college soccer because I want to further my career in the game and be challenged at a competitive school. As a player I am constantly working to improve my skills, speed, and strength outside of practice and games. I have set a personal challenge for myself to practice on the ball at least an hour a day and do some other form of strength/speed workouts. I have been doing this for a year. My work ethic and leadership are qualities that both my teachers and coaches know me for. I think what made me so hard working as a player was not only my mindset, but also the struggle I had with being an underdog in middle school. I learned to put in the extra hours outside of practice and games, and I soon developed my own system that got me stronger and better. I learned that I have the ability to push myself to be the best player I can be, and this has carried me far throughout my soccer career. This work ethic also overlapped into my academics. I am a 4.0 student at my high school.
