I have played soccer for the past 6 years at a competitive level. Soccer has always been a top priority of mine. It has taught me the importance of determination, teamwork and communication. I have also had the opportunity to be a leader on my team, coaches have always asked me to bring direction to the field. I choose to lead by example. Academically, I am in the medical internship program, HOSA club, Mu Alpha Theta and NTHS at my high school. I have also been enrolled in AP/Honors classes while maintaining a 4.3 GPA. In 2019, I was invited to, and attended, the Future Medical Leaders of America in Lowell, Massachusetts. Because of this, I am now a member of the Torch and Laurel Honor Society. I am also working a part-time job as a cashier at Publix. My biggest strength is to adapt and succeed. I know this because I immigrated from Canada five years ago and have thrived academically, athletically and socially.
