Baileigh Rumage '26 Recruiting Profile

I am looking for a college/university with a strong academic program along with a strong soccer program. I have played soccer since I was four and cannot imagine my life without it. It brings me joy and has taught me many lessons.

I play for my club team, Alabama FC ECNL-R 08, and for my high school varsity team, where I am a four year starter and Varsity Captain. I have been a starter for both my high school and club teams since 8th grade. I traditionally play the 10 position, but spend time at the 11, 9 and 7 as well. I am switch foot, so I easily play both sides of the field. I have also spent time a little time at holding mid. I am adaptable and flexible in situations that may become difficult, and I love the mental part of the game and the vision it requires - always thinking of multiple ways to capitalize on a play. I enjoy soccer not only because of the new people I meet but also the hard work it requires. I enjoy being challenged and pushed and am fueled by that and my competitive nature.
I was inducted into the National Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, and National Spanish Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Rho Kappa, English National Honor Society and have a 4.23 GPA. I serve on the Youth Leadership Council for Family Connections serving youth in crisis and was selected for the HHS Student Leadership Team for the ‘25-26 year. Outside of soccer and academics I enjoy spending time with friends, outdoor activities, traveling, anything water sports related, and playing with my dog. I hope to one day attend medical school with an end goal of becoming an anesthesiologist.
