Catalina D'Ambrosio Rivera '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Catalina and I would like to introduce myself! I am a 2022 graduate at Randolph HS located in Huntsville, AL. I played club soccer all throughout middle school and got on the varsity team as a starter in 9th grade. I have been awarded MVDP as a freshman and sophomore on my high school team. I have been on the varsity team since while playing club soccer for NASC U19 girls in the fall. Our club team is a D1 national league team we have won our state league 5 years in a row and have been able to make it to top 5 in regionals 3 times.  I am a starting center back on my club team as well and play the full 90 minutes. I was also selected to be on the Mid Conference Best XI Teams in the national league last season! I attend one or more soccer ID camps with college coaches in the summer. I also train and play with an indoor soccer league during the summer. 

I am a very good student and academically driven. I plan to major in Pre-med and also get a business degree. School is very important to me but so is my social life with my friends. I like to go out on hikes and adventures to watering holes with them. I also like to volunteer at the Youth Center to help kids with their homework after my school day has ended. I am an ambassador at my club team and help set up programs for little kids that need help with their soccer skills. 

I plan to consider colleges that fit me academically! I am very passionate about soccer and it would be great to keep playing the sport I love during college.
