Emily Smith '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Emily Smith. I am a Junior at Robertsdale High School. As a Freshman and Sophomore  I was a full time Varsity starter playing as an Attacking Midfielder and Forward. I earned All County Honors both seasons. As a junior I have been playing as a box to box midfielder but having to play more defensively to support my team’s needs. I also play as an attacking midfielder for Baldwin Rush which is part of Coastal Rush. I enjoy creating scoring  opportunities for my teammates and celebrating their success more than my own. Defensively, my ability to read the game allows me to win a high rate of challenges while my ability to hold possession and passing ability help my teams escape pressure and build up our attacks. I am hard working in the classroom, on the field and in the weight room which I believe contributes to my successes. 

My goal is to find a school that will provide me an opportunity to play and contribute at the collegiate level and  will prepare me for life after college and soccer.
