Mellysa Galiz '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Mellysa Galiz , an incoming senior at Chandler High School and I’m very interested in playing college level soccer. I wasn’t too sure what I was gonna do for my future but I came to the realization that I couldn’t imagine my life without soccer and I really want to continue my soccer career. I am very focused on my academics and always keep my gpa high and also very focused on the sport.

When it comes to playing soccer I am very dedicated to the sport and always put full effort into games and practices. I am a well rounded player and able to play almost all positions, my strongest position I enjoy playing is forward but also can do just as well in defense. I like to use my speed as an advantage, I could say my speed has helped me with the most opportunities to get on goal and also being aggressive in a proper way. Also very skillful with my feet to get out of dangerous situations.

I hope to get better as a player during college and hopefully make it farther in my soccer career after college by continuing it . Also playing in college will involve a faster pace and I want to be able to experience that challenge. Also being able to meet new people and becoming good friends with all my teammates who I could remember in the long run .
