I started playing soccer when I was 5 years old. I found out at an early age that I loved the sport! I moved to club soccer at the age of 7 and my passion for the game grows stronger each year. I continue to work hard so that I may compete at the collegiate level. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.
I have excellent ball handling skills, vision of the field and I am strong. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am one of the team captains. I am very coach-able and want to learn! I am one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find. In November of 2018 I tore my ACL and didn't play for 11 months. I never missed a high school practice nor game (JV Captain) nor did I miss a single game or practice for club. My time on the bench gave me a new perspective of the game and a better understanding of what my coaches were teaching me. Those 11 months were not a loss if anything they helped make me a more rounded player. My high school teammates even voted for me for the Husky Award, even though I never stepped on the field. My commitment to my teammates, even though from the bench, was always 150%. My first weekend back was for my club team, playing in our club tournament. I scored 3 goals and we made it to the finals!
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I volunteer at local charities and am working towards my referee license. I am also on our club leadership council.
My goal for college is simple, I want to attend a college where I can challenge myself in the classroom and on the field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I strive to become a great role model to my peers and teammates and make my parents proud.
