Jada Vere '19 Recruiting Profile

I was fortunate enough to be adopted at birth by supportive and loving parents who encourage me to play sports and helped me be the person I am today. I am very close with my parents and my three sisters are my best friends. My parents have been excellent role models and have taught me to be polite to others. I have always been athletic enjoyed being involved with different sports. When I was in eighth grade, I played on the school basketball team, softball and soccer and I was voted most athletic by the class. While I enjoy all sports, soccer is my favorite sport and I have been playing since I was nine years old.  

I have learned so much from playing sports. In addition to good sportsmanship, the teams I have played on have been like a second family. I have developed so much as a person and player. I have goals that I strive for every day, from academics to athletics, I try my best and go the extra mile for success. I know the obstacles I have encountered have taught me to be strong, not give up, and keep pushing to the top.  I believe that my strongest characteristics are being honest, having confidence and being a team player.
