Hello,
My name is Maria Tsioutsias and I am a junior at Queen Creek High School in Gilbert, Arizona. I have been playing competitive soccer since the age of 6 years old and have not stopped playing ever since. I have been playing soccer going on for 12 years including two years as on my high school varsity squad. I have started both my freshman and sophomore year on the team and have playing every game. I was awarded the MVP award as a freshmen at Williams Field. This year I will be playing with RSL North under Coach Michael Varela.
Soccer has been a wonderful journey for me and always will be..it has helped me overcome challenges and taught me that with taking advice well, having persistence, hard work, and teamwork everything is attainable. It has taught me that challenges on and off the field are part of life that you must conquer. As I am heading into the final stretch in school, I am looking into colleges that will educationally assist me in my future and crossing my fingers, hopefully playing soccer as well. I have decided to major in Psychology, as helping people and seeing them better themselves is very important to me. Academically I have a 3.93 GPA and I am in the National Honor's Society.
On my spare time I like to Greek traditional dance and volunteer through my church. This year my goal is to volunteer more through St. Mary's Bank and through my soccer Club... I thank you so much for taking the time to learn a little about me.
Sincerely,
Maria
