I am very interested in biology and potentially working in the medical field, but am ultimately undecided on a major right now. It is important to me that the college I attend has an active campus life and a strong sense of community. On the field, I am a physically strong player with a high soccer IQ. Both of my parents are soccer coaches and I have been raised in the sport. I have mainly played goalkeeper however, I did make all-conference as a defender last year after breaking my arm just prior to the season starting. I am fully recovered now and ready to return to goal if that is where I am needed but would be just as happy and capable in the field if that is where my team and coach need me.
Academically, I am a responsible student and work to keep my achievement up. I have only taken the ACT once in the summer prior to my sophomore year and scored a 17. However, I will be taking the test again next month and then again as needed to obtain the score I want.
I am very driven and once I set my mind to something I work hard to achieve it. This helps me both in the field, in the classroom, and in my personal life. I have worked on the family farm since I was very young and this helped me develop a strong work ethic.
I am open to all collegiate opportunities, right now. I want to be exposed to new challenges, and look forward to meeting new people and learning about new areas of the country.
I look forward to speaking to coaches and exploring how I may fit into your team!
