I strive to play collegiate soccer at a school that will push me as an athlete and provide me with a strong education. I have excelled at many sports, but soccer has always been my favorite. I had to give up basketball, volleyball and track in high school because of my club soccer commitment. I played for The Thompson Okanagan Football Club in the BC Soccer Premier League. It is part of the pathway to the Canadian National Team. I traveled over an hour each way 3 times a week for training and most games were 4.5 hours away by team bus every Sunday. It was a huge commitment that I loved! My teammates became some of my closest friends. Unfortunately with Covid, travel restrictions and internal politics, our team ended up dismantling. We formed a new team as part of Okanagan FC. We compete in tournaments and exhibition games against high level competition. I also trained in the summer with Div 1 and 2 and Canadian University players home for the break. Through all of this I have gained a real appreciation for the dedication and time management required to play at a competitive university. I look forward to having that opportunity for a team looking for a hard working, tall, versatile player who always puts the team first!
