I have been playing soccer since I was six years old and I consider myself a very competitive and determined soccer player. I have recently returned to play due to an ACL injury and have worked very hard to be able to continue my dream of being a collegiate player. School is the most important aspect of being student-athlete and I intend to achieve this in the fall of 2015. I have played in the Vancouver Metro Women's League as a 15 and 16 year old for TSS Elite Academy Red. I have become accustomed to playing against players more athletically mature than me and this has taught me a great deal such as the power of will and preparation for this wonderful sport. Prior to my time at the academy I have played for a brief time in the British Columbia High Performance League (HPL) and for the youth metro division system. Currently, I am back playing in the BCHPL for the U18 Vancouver Fusion team and I attend New Westminster Secondary School. I enjoy school along with traveling to new places and making new friends. I hope to pursue a career in either Pre-Law or Sports Psychology.I have just returned from a student volunteer trip to the Dominican Republic and the experience puts things in perspective such as family, education and passion.
