Isabela Pineda '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, my name is Isabela Pineda and I've aspired to play at a University level ever since I was a little girl. I have been playing soccer since I was 4 and it's my love and passion. I play BCSPL(Highest Level in British Columbia) for Surrey United,  and I also play for the Provincial team (state team). My goal as a soccer player is to play at the highest level possible so I can continue to grow and develop as a player while obtaining  a university degree.  I bring many great qualities as a player and as a person to your team. I am very competitive, coachable and never give up no matter how hard the situation might be. On the field I am strong, I work hard, make creative plays and also have a very good understanding and vision for the game. On and off the field I am a good leader and support my teammates

In 2018 I was awarded Female Player of the year for my club and it was an honour to be recognized among so many talented athletes. Although I love to score goals I also  create many scoring opportunities for my teammates, and love to set them up. Last year we were Provincial Champions and had the opportunity to play in the 2019 Canada Soccer U15 Cup National Championships and placed 3rd in Canada bringing home a bronze medal.  I have been invited to participate in the El Salvador U17 Training Camp postponed to 2021.

 As for academics, I have a 3.9 GPA and take my education very seriously. I would love to pursue a business degree. I am in the process of taking my SAT and will hopefully take it in the next couple of months.
