Personal Statement


Hi, I’m Ava Shearer, and I’ve been playing soccer since I was five years old. I started with Vancouver Athletic FC, where I played on their Division 1 teams and trained in the Vancouver Whitecaps Academy for three years. In 2021, I became a goalkeeper and have loved it ever since. I’m currently playing for the TSS Rovers U16 team in the BCSPL, where I enjoy the competition and being part of a great team. I’m a strong communicator, confident with the ball at my feet, and love helping my team on and off the field. My dream is to play at university and the professional level.
