I have wanted soccer to be a part of my life for as long as I can remember. That commitment has only grown as I've advanced to more and more competitive play, however, it was the opportunity to train with student-athletes from the Stanford Women's Soccer team (Sierra Enge, Kennedy Wesley, and more) that solidified my goal of becoming a college player. These players have shown me what it takes to be successful both academically and athletically. Sierra, taught me about the technical and tactical aspects of the game but what I really took away from my years of work with her was her passion for the sport. Through sessions with Kennedy, I saw the determination and dedication it takes to be a college-level player...and it has only pushed me to work harder. I apply this same drive and determination to my academics, which is one of the things that I believe sets me apart from my peers. Keeping the balance can be challenging but the structure and physical outlet of soccer has made me a better student, and my academics have made me a more disciplined player. My goal is to find a college environment where I can use my unique skills to excel in both.
