Personal Statement

I began playing soccer in Texas when I was 5 years old.  After my dad was transferred to California, I joined the Benicia Arsenal FC 2000 Girls team in 2007 where we went on to win the silver division of the NorCal State Cup in 2010.  From 2010 to 2016, our team experienced six different coaches, which in turn gave me six years of different coaching styles.  Through these years, I developed skills of sportsmanship, dedication, and teamwork while evolving to be become the team leader.  I lead the team in goals and assists in every season I played.

In 2017 I was invited to play on the California Magic 1999 Girls team (http://home.gotsoccer.com/rankings/team.aspx?teamid=442365).  I am currently the youngest player on this premier level team and when this team dissolves in Spring 2018 I have a spot being held for me on the Diablo FC 00/99G NPL.  I love my Cal Magic team, but I am extremely excited to play with Diablo FC since they are currently (Feb 2018) rated #2 nationally according to GotSoccer.com.
