Sophia Young '20 Recruiting Profile

Playing Soccer is my escape from school and stress. Soccer allows me to be free while doing something I love. I remember watching the older kids playing soccer thinking I would never be as good as them, but look at me today. I never thought I would get to where I am today yet, with my hardwork, determination, and love for the sport, my dream became a reality. Through playing my sport, I've learned that if I make a mistake, I just have to get up and focus on whats next and not to dwell on the past. I have set many goals for myself academically, athletically and as an overall person. I intend to reach my goals by working hard while still living life. 

I take my school and sports very seriously, however, I enjoy many hobbies outside of school and sports. I enjoy photography as it gives me a chance to be creative and look at things through different perspectives.
