Chloe Steele Wright '24 Recruiting Profile

At 5'10", my height is a big advantage in the goal box.  I excel in the air, and am equally strong with low shots.  I’m fearless and not afraid to go into a tackle.   I am able to analyze the field, which allows for efficient and effective communication with my teammates. I have high respect for my coaches and am a very coachable player. I excel in school and strive to challenge myself by taking rigorous academic courses. In my freshman year of high school, I was the starting goalkeeper on varsity and learned a lot playing against girls potentially 5 years older than me. I now play in the Girls Academy league at City SC San Diego. Additionally, I support my community through my work as a licensed Cal South Grassroots referee and running a volunteer soccer skills clinic with low income preschool/after-school programs. I‘d love to continue my soccer career at the collegiate level!
