     Soccer has been my passion and driving force since I first started playing at the age of 5.  As a 16-year-old female athlete, the dream of playing soccer in college is etched into the core of my being. It’s not just a goal; it’s a pursuit fueled by an unwavering desire, an unbeatable will, and a determined work ethic. 

      Soccer has helped shape not only my physical abilities, but has molded my character as well. The soccer field is where I’ve learned life’s invaluable lessons- teamwork, perseverance, and the importance of pushing beyond one’s limits. Soccer is not just about scoring goals and making precise passes; it’s about the hours spent honing skills when no one is watching. My desire to play at the collegiate level is the fuel that keeps me going when fatigue steps in, and doubts creep in. My will to succeed is created in the competition, where every opponent becomes a stepping stone, every defeat a lesson, and every victory a testament to the strength of my purpose.  

      In closing, the dream of playing college soccer is not just a goal, but a calling. I am not just chasing a dream, but actively building the path that will lead me to it.
